MOD Pizza Kicks Off “Spreading MODness” Week To Tackle Food Insecurity

Every MOD location will support local food banks and backpack programs

SEATTLE (November 17, 2020) — MOD Super Fast Pizza Holdings, LLC (“MOD Pizza”, “MOD” or the “Company”) today announced its annual “Spreading MODness” week – taking place November 22-25, 2020 – at all 490+ MOD locations across the U.S. and Canada. This year, MOD is teaming up with 46 local and regional food banks and backpack programs, and will donate 20% of all store sales to support their feeding efforts. Since 2013, MOD’s annual Spreading MODness week has focused on tackling hunger in the U.S, and to date has provided more than one million meals to those in need.

To activate a donation, customers simply need to mention their local charity when ordering in-store, or use the code MODNESS20 when ordering online and through the MOD app. The full list of non-profits supported by this years’ Spreading MODness week can be found below.

“The staggering statistics around food insecurity are heartbreaking to all of us at MOD. This year, more than ever, we are reminded of what is most important – serving others,” said Ally Svenson, co-founder and chief purpose officer, MOD Pizza. “For our customers, by simply enjoying a MOD pizza or salad, they can join in Spreading MODness, which we define as the ripple effect of doing the right thing. Together, we can help to make a difference for those most vulnerable in the communities we serve.”
