A big thank you to all everyone who helped us Spread MODness to kids struggling with hunger. Spreading MODness is something we do every day, but thanks to our partnership with Generosity Feeds, we were really able to magnify the MODness this year!
The results are in and together, across 279 stores, 26 states, 5,000 MOD Squaders, and countless customers, we raised over $364,275 for Generosity Feeds. One dollar equals one meal—but that’s just the beginning!
Our goal of providing half a million meals to hungry kids across the US will soon be realized as we move into the next stage of Spreading MODness – community meal-packing events. We’re holding these in all our communities across the U.S., teaming up with local businesses to double the contributions and the amount of meals we can create.
An example of the power of Spreading MODness and the ripple effect of doing the right thing, was our first meal packing event in Houston on December 3rd. MOD’s $11,000 donation became $20,000 thanks to the generosity of community leaders and businesses. The meals, assembled in less than 2 hours, were delivered to thousands of kids in North Houston through backpack programs and local food banks, creating an opportunity for full tummies and bright futures.
